After the belt conveyor belt of other workshops wears out, the damaged section needs to be replaced when replacing. The bearing capacity of the conveyor belt on the belt conveyor line in the workshop has a great relationship with the service life and the joint quality. The joint quality is good, the bearing capacity is large, and the service life is long. The price of the belt conveyor line conveyor in the workshop is about 400 yuan/m. The extension of the service life of the belt conveyor line conveyor belt can reduce the cost of the conveying equipment. Therefore, the processing of the belt conveyor belt joint of the workshop is very important.
1. Workshop belt line conveyor belt mechanical joint method
Commonly used is the hook card connection. The hook-and-loop connecting belt buckle is multi-claw-shaped, and the hook is wedged with a hammer and worn by a pin. For different thicknesses of conveyor belts, different types of belt buckles should be used. With this type of joint method, the strength is greatly reduced, and the strength after the hooking is only 35% to 40% of the strength of the conveyor belt itself. Generally not used, mostly as an emergency measure.
2, workshop belt line conveyor belt hot glue vulcanization method
The cloth layer and the rubber layer of the joint part of the conveyor belt are cut into symmetrical difference steps according to a certain way and the viewpoint, coated with glue to make it adhere, and then heated under certain pressure and temperature conditions for a certain time, after the vulcanization reaction, the raw The rubber turns into a vulcanized rubber and then obtains a higher adhesion strength at the joint. The joint strength obtained by this method can reach 85% to 90% of the original conveyor belt. Although the joint is high in strength, the skill conditions are difficult to grasp, and accurately grasping the skill conditions is the key to ensuring the strength and life of the joint. The vulcanization skill conditions are not well controlled or improperly formed, which may result in quality defects such as sulfur deficiency, sulfur, delamination, foaming, punching, and alum. Furthermore, the vulcanization equipment is relatively bulky and inconvenient to transport.
3. Cold glue bonding vulcanization method after the improvement of the process of the belt conveyor line conveyor in the workshop
The cold glue joint method is carried out at room temperature, and the tool is simple, which brings great convenience to the construction on site. After the process is improved, the physical and mechanical properties of the joint and the service life can reach an equal level of thermal bonding.
(1) Treatment of conveyor belt conveyor belt joints in workshop
The primary process: cutting, stepping, tearing and peeling steps, proofing, polishing, etc. Whether the conveyor head can be connected directly affects the operation, so it is necessary to find the center line of the conveyor belt joint before cutting, so as to ensure that the center line coincides when closing. Connector processing process:
1 Workshop belt line conveyor belt to cut off. Cut the interface into an oblique angle of α=30°～60° to the center line of the tape, so that it is not easy to be scraped by the cleaner, generally taking α=45°.
2 workshop belt line conveyor belt is divided into steps. Divide the cut tape head into several steps with the same size. Under normal conditions, the number of steps = tape canvas layer -1, the step width is 150 to 200 mm along the center line, and the ends of the conveyor belt are 40 to 60 mm. Used to protect the connector.
3 workshop belt line conveyor belt tearing and peeling steps. First peel off the final step (the end of the conveyor belt is set to the first one), when cutting, the lower knife should be light, can only cut through a layer of canvas, can not damage the base canvas. Then, the working surface rubber layer is peeled off together with the first layer of canvas, but the left end of the conveyor belt is left 40 to 60 mm without cutting and tearing. According to the above process, each step is sequentially stripped, and it is necessary to leave a layer of canvas and work surface glue layer on the first step.
4 workshop belt line conveyor belt joint proofing. Align the center lines of the two stripped tape ends and check the gap at the joint to ensure that the interface is tightly fitted, no more than 1mm. If it is not suitable, properly trimmed to ensure the quality of the joint.
5 workshop belt line conveyor belt grinding. Use a hand-held wire wheel polisher or carpenter to remove the remaining rubber from each step, taking care not to injure the canvas.
(2) Workshop belt line conveyor belt brushing glue
After processing the joint, the glue can be brushed after the canvas is penetrated. Generally, the brush is used for 3 times. The glue of the first pass is slightly diluted (solute: solvent = 1:6), and the glue of the second and third passes is slightly thick (solute : Solvent = 1:3 to 4). Brush the glue evenly, not too thick. It is necessary to wait until the glue of the previous brush is fully evaporated, so that it can be brushed once (not sticky).
(3) Closure of the belt conveyor line joint of the workshop
After brushing the glue for the third time, the ends can be closed. From the one end of the joint, the center is bonded to both sides to facilitate the discharge of air to both sides. It is necessary to make the step adhesion of the joints correct. Once closed, it is difficult to open, even if it is broken, it will affect the quality of the glue. After the closing, the glue is applied to the joint of the upper and lower glues, and the width is 3 to 5 mm and the height is 0.5 to 1 mm.
(4) Rolling and pressing of the belt conveyor belt joint of the workshop
After the joint is closed, it can be hammered from the center to the surroundings with a hammer. Then use a 15 mm thick steel plate to press the joint. Due to the large width of the steel plate, the center orientation may be warped, so that the joint is not strong and can be clamped by channel steel and bolts. Depending on the quality of the glue, after a few hours of placement, the conveyor belt can be operated at heavy load.
The joint made by this cutting method can basically prevent the cutting marks from being seen from the working surface and the non-working surface of the belt conveyor belt of the workshop belt and the two ends of the conveyor belt, and can be used to prevent the formation of the canvas layer from rot due to the moisture immersed in the canvas layer. Then extend the life of the conveyor belt.
